Successful applicant will be involved in the analysis and integration of high-throughput transcriptomic and epigenomic datasets and will work in tight contact with biologists in order to unravel new pathways involved in immune-related pathology such as autoimmunity and immunodeficiency.
The group led by Andrea Cimarelli is actively seeking for one highly motivated post doctoral candidate to work on the cell biology of human immunodeficiency viruses (HIVs) infection
The CNIC (Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares) International Postdoctoral Programme (CNIC IPP) offers 10 postdoctoral fellowships.
We seek candidates with strong qualifications in the following areas: molecular/cell biology, cancer genetics and in vivo imaging. We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated and career-oriented to join an exciting highly interactive research team.
A 4 year post-doc will address the hypothesis that early changes in axonal biology, and particularly in RNA localization and axonal signalling, play a role in ALS. The project will use a recently generated mouse model of ALS, microfluidic chambers to isolate axons, and a novel RNA tagging tool. This project is based in UCL ION within Gipi Schiavo's lab.
