A post-doctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sirio Dupont in the Department of Molecular Medicine - University of Padova to study new regulatory mechanisms of YAP/TAZ oncogenic activity, funded by a Worldwide Cancer Research grant recently awarded to the group. The current research interests of the lab focus on transcriptional regulation downstream of mechanical/cytoskeletal inputs and in the cross-talk between Hippo signaling and cell metabolism. The ideal candidate should have a PhD in the field of molecular and/or cellular cancer biology and some publications. Previous experience in cell biology and/or mouse genetics preferred.
