The project is focused on the identification of the mechanisms that control iron homeostasis in physiologic and pathologic conditions. The Unit has a strong publication record in the field of iron regulation/dysregulation in erythropoiesis, inflammation and cancer (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=camaschella+c).

The ideal candidate is a young, highly-motivated person with a degree in the field of biology and propensity to interact with people. Basic experience in animal handling and experimentation are required.

Salary will be commensurate to experience and profile.
