ICGEB offers competitive Postdoctoral Fellowships in the Life Sciences to highly motivated scientists wishing to pursue postdoctoral research in a world-class scientific environment. The Fellowships consist of a very competitive package including stipend, health insurance and additional benefits. The most successful fellows will also be eligible to apply for ICGEB Early Career Research Grants to support their own research programmes as young PIs upon return to an ICGEB Member State.
Three types of Short-term fellowships can be awarded, as follows: Short-term fellowships for Pre-doctoral or Postdoctoral studies in ICGEB Component laboratories Short-term fellowships for mobility between ICGEB Member States (SMART Fellowships).
The International Cancer Research Fellowships (iCARE) program, a funding scheme intended to promote the mobility of experienced researchers to and from Italy. This program is open to highly qualified post-doctoral fellows or equivalent who wish to broaden their experience in oncologic research, and consists of three different types of fellowships, each for a duration of two years
ABCD awards visiting fellowships to young researchers. The aim is to encourage collaborations and sharing of technical know-how through short visits to a host laboratory in Italy.
