The Telethon Institute for Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM) is a multidisicplinary research institute devoted to the study of rare genetic diseases and to the development of innovative therapies. Research is focused on three major areas that include the cell biology of genetic disease, molecular therapy and systems biology of functional genomics. The institute has recently moved to a new location in the refurbished building of former Olivetti Campus in Pozzuoli.
