Human hematopoietic development and disease modeling Lab - Andrea Ditad
One research assistant/lab manager position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Andrea Ditadi at the SR-TIGET in Milan. Our lab combines developmental cell and molecular biology to understand normal and pathological human hematopoietic development, with a particular interest in studying the genetic origins for blood disorders and developing novel strategies for their treatment.
We are looking for a researcher who will help develop new techniques and assays to integrate stem cell biology, immunology and developmental biology. As a research assistant, you will also provide technical support to the projects of other researchers in the lab as well as help with general lab management. Experimental approaches include cell and molecular biology, flow cytometry and cell sorting as well as in vivo model systems, for which previous experience is required.
The position is open for a proactive self-motivated and team-oriented fellow, with documented experience and the following qualifications:

• excellent communication
Proficiency in oral and written English is a must. PhD and/or previous experience of lab management would be an asset.
