The International Max Planck Research School in Chemical and Molecular Biology (IMPRS-CMB) is looking for talented and motivated PhD candidates of all nationalities with an interest in
MOLECULAR and CELL BIOLOGY, BIOCHEMISTRY, BIOPHYSICS, APPLIED and THEORETICAL PHYSICS, MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY, CHEMICAL BIOLOGY, STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY, SYSTEMS BIOLOGY and related fields
We expect excellent academic scores, prior research experience but most importantly commitment and enthusiasm to face the many challenges of a PhD project.
The IMPRS-CMB is a joint program between the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology in Dortmund, the Technical University of Dortmund, the Ruhr University Bochum and the University of Duisburg-Essen. All four institutes are closely connected and located in the Ruhr Metropolitan Area, a vibrant, open and multicultural region in Germany.
The program was established over 15 years ago and has continuously provided excellent training for students from all over the world. We value independence, curiosity, ability to think out of the box and communication. We offer a collaborative, interdisciplinary and young environment for students to set the foundations of their career.
