Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Fellow and PhD candidate positions

Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Fellow and PhD candidate positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Andrea Ditadi at the SR-TIGET in Milan. The successful candidates will be in the unique position to integrate stem cell biology and immunology to develop novel systems for the treatment of hematopoietic disorders.

The focus of our lab is to understand and recapitulate normal and pathological human hematopoietic development using the hESC/hiPSC system, with the goal of generating blood cell products to be used in the regenerative medicine framework. Our projects are expected to accelerate the development of techniques that could be translated to the clinic.

We are located at San Raffaele Hospital - TIGET, a world-leading Institute in the areas of gene and cell therapy for the treatment of human genetic diseases; thus, our projects benefit from close collaborations with active clinicians.

The selected candidates will develop an independent research project, as well as assisting other lab members and contributing to routine lab organization. The candidates should have documented research experience in competitive labs and be proficient in cellular and molecular biology and flow cytometry.
