Elvesys is a young innovating company created by 3 young researchers in microfluidics. We are a company innovating permanently and we starting new microfluidic research projects every year. Our goal is to create in France the foundations of a «Microfluidic Valley» by launching every year a new innovating company in Microfluidics.

In 2014, Elvesys won the global innovation contest (Concours Mondial de l’innovation) by developing the world’s fastest technology to detect pathogenic agent in less than 10 minutes in blood or saliva samples.

About the position

You have an engineering and PhD degree or you are a specialist in optics and industrial design and have an engineering degree. You must master a 3D CAD software (Solidworks, Catia, etc) and the mastery of LabVIEW and a optical CAD software would be also appreciated.

You will have to manage your projects autonomously in interaction with other R&D team members and production team. You will be in charge of the conception of subsets of our microfluidic systems from the conception to the after-sales support. From time to time, you will have to interact with our customers in order to create closer links between our conception process and our customers satisfaction. You will mainly work on Elvelfow products development (microfluidic instrumentation) and other related instrumentation projects in bioengineering. You are dynamic, curious and attracted by the stimulating and rewarding life of a start-up. Your skillfulness and your common sense will allow you to manage efficiently constraints and pressure. Rigour, perfectionism, efficiency, initiative, autonomy, priority management, good communication skills are assets to succeed in this position
