We are excited to invite you to a unique scientific conference, celebrating our 100-year anniversary and bringing together our different communities.

We are striving to deliver a conference that is inclusive - providing an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones, build bridges and enrich your network, regardless of your background or career stage. We invite all attendees to explore the programme, which offers a unique opportunity to attend a diverse range of talks across the full scope of our journals, including developmental biology, cell biology, comparative animal physiology, and disease biology.

This anniversary conference will incorporate the Spring Meetings of the British Society for Cell Biology (BSCB) and the British Society for Developmental Biology (BSDB). It will further include the JEB Symposium 'Sensory perception in a changing world', a one-day DMM-hosted programme 'Interdisciplinary approaches to combatting antimicrobial resistance', and a one-day meeting organised by the Society for Experimental Biology (SEB).

Programme overview

Our 100th anniversary conference will be a celebration of biology and biologists. We aim to bring together our different communities, including cell, developmental, experimental and disease biologists. The programme includes different scientific tracks, but we also encourage delegates to explore sessions outside their main areas. Every day will start with a plenary session in which the keynote speakers focus on a topic of importance to the entire biological community. Various networking opportunities will be provided throughout the event.
