 Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that registrations and abstract submissions to the upcoming National Ph.D. Meeting (24-26 March 2022, Salerno, Italy) are officially open.

Facing the COVID19 pandemic put a lot of activities on hold, we are proud to be able to return to foster the scientific exchange and collaboration especially for the new generation of scientists.

The National Ph.D. Meeting aims to bring together Ph.D. students from different parts of Italy and to give them the chance to present their research in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere. The meeting is also a nice opportunity for the development of new ideas and the establishment of new collaborations.

The programme includes thematic poster session and oral communications from selected abstracts, and two keynote lectures delivered by Jim Norman (Glasgow, UK) and Marino Zerial (Dresden, Germany).

As since 2015, in honor and memory of Luca Daveggio, together with his family, the best oral communication will be awarded with the "Luca Daveggio" Prize.

As has become a hallmark of these meetings, Ph.D. students play also a fundamental role in the meeting organization. The student committee is fully responsible for the selection of oral communications from the submitted abstracts and for chairing all sessions.

Registrations and abstract submissions are accepted exclusively through the meeting website until 14 February 2022.

Advantages and discounts:

  • reduced registration fees for ABCD and SIBBM members
  • early bird discount
  • travel grants, covering the registration fee, for selected participants (rules on the registration page).

We hope you will join us in large numbers to ensure a lively discussion and exchange of ideas among the participants.

We look forward to seeing you in Salerno!
