An EMBO workshop on “Glycosylation in the Golgi complex” is to be held at Vico Equense, Italy from 24-28 October 2016. The workshop deals with the intersection of membrane trafficking in the Golgi apparatus with the glycosylation function of the Golgi. This intersection has long been neglected and this workshop will stimulate discussions and collaborations that will lead to advances in the understanding of the functioning of the Golgi apparatus. The meeting is open to researchers working every aspect of the Golgi apparatus.
