The symposium aims to link the molecular mechanisms responsible for tissue homeostasis to the malignant processes leading to pathologies such as cancer, and ageing- and metabolism-related disorders. This year we count on talks by 10 renowned speakers, who will cover fields ranging from structural chemistry to translational biology: Christian Ottmann, Linda Partridge, Thijn Brummelkamp, Manuel Serrano, Melina Schuh, Philipp Selenko, Kim Nasmyth, Andrew Dillin, Dirk Trauner, and Anne Bertolotti.

PhD students are encouraged to apply for either a short talk or a poster. In this edition, we will also provide students with the opportunity to network with the invited speakers during the event "Tapas with Speakers" and to actively discuss scientific career paths during the round table event.
