The joint ABCD SIBBM 2024 National Ph.D. Meeting is an exciting three-day event that this year will happen in Bologna. The meeting is designed to bring together Ph.D. students who work on research related to cellular and molecular biology. The Ph.D. Meeting provides a friendly environment for Ph.D. students to present their research proposal, as well as intermediate results, and to discuss them with experts and peers of Ph.D. students in the same field. In addition, as in previous years, both the selection of the two keynote speakers and the oral presentations are organized by a committee of four Ph.D. students themselves.

The main goals of this meeting are to provide an opportunity for Ph.D. students to:

• Interact and exchange ideas with researchers in the cellular, molecular, and developmental biology community.
• Receive constructive feedback on their current and future research.
• Develop a critical discussion about their work with experienced researchers.
• Present their work as a poster at the poster session.
