Membership

Full Membership

Applicants should send an e-mail email to the General Secretary including the following information:

  • name, surname and date of birth
  • name and address of current University/Institution
  • telephone number and e-mail address
  • scientific interests within the scope of the Society (e.g., membrane biogenesis/chromatin structure/etc.)
  • list of 3 publications (titles and exact references) in international journals in the last 5 years (art. 2, ABCD statute)
  • details of memberships to other national or international societies with similar interests to ABCD

The annual membership fee is € 50,00.

 

Junior Membership

Applicants are entitled to junior membership for 6 years from the date of gaining their undergraduate degree. Applications should be sent to the General Secretary by e-mail email and should include the following information:

  • name, surname and date of birth
  • name and address of current University/Institution
  • telephone number and e-mail address
  • scientific interests within the scope of the Society (e.g., membrane biogenesis/chromatin structure/etc.)
  • letter of support from a full ABCD member
  • year of graduation

Junior membership has a fixed duration of 5 years and does not require payment of the membership fee. Applications by junior members to become full members should be made prior to the end of the 5-year period and are subject to the conditions outlined in the ABCD statute (in particular, 3 publications in international journals in the last 5 years, as described in art. 2 of the ABCD statute).
